March usually will be the starting of dry season here in Peninsular Malaysia. Here in Tasik Prima in Puchong, it means water will be much warmer than in February and most hydrillas will be dead. Most fish will be roaming in much deeper water hunting for baitfish in cooler areas. We're catching fish using a lot of swimbaits or crankbaits that can go deeper especially around noon where fish will be most active. We are also catching some cool new species on lures such as this barb and pleco!
