Snakeheads Toman Fishing in May

May is the starting of south west monsoon meaning its gonna be hot and dry here in Malaysia. Most lakes will see reduced or low water level. It also means fish will hung out in deeper water to stay away from the heat. It also means you can find predator fish congregating at one spot where the water is a bit deeper than the rest of the area. Spend more time studying the area to find where most fish are and we will catch more fish. This time of year also is a good time for you to start catching more snakeheads. When its warm they will rise to the surface more frequent to get oxygens. They will stay at one spot where the water is a bit cooler and spend less time roaming during the day. Here is some photos of recent snakeheads that I caught taking advantage of this weather changes.
